Unitac Expands Double Chamfer Plus Size Guide Pads

Dec 2023 — Unitac is pleased to announce the expansion of double chamfer guide pad lineups for plus-size guide pads of indexable deep hole drilling tools.
At a Glance
- The double chamfer promotes smooth entry into the bore and reduces the risk of guide pad rupture for extended tool life.
- FH3125 provides a long tool life because of its unique substrate and coating.
Therefore, Grade B1042 and B1040 of plus size guide pad will be phase out by June 2024.
Concurrently, brazed guide pad of B1042 and B1040 will be phased out also as announced before by June 2024
