Unitac Launches the FINE-BEAM JET Series

Fukuoka, Japan – November 2026 — Unitac is pleased to announce FINE-BEAM JET, a new direct-mount indexable drill head series for deep-hole drilling. Developed using additive manufacturing technology, FINE-BEAM JET features an optimized coolant flow design that increases coolant delivery to the cutting edge while maintaining coolant pressure. The enhanced coolant flow supports stable chip evacuation, even in conditions of low coolant flow. A gold-colored, high-hardness surface coating protects the drill head against wear. The increased body hardness also improves durability and long-term reliability.
